Themed ‘Vibrant South Asia – Innovative Diaspora’, the 4th South Asian Diaspora Convention (SADC) will bring together more than 800 distinguished guests and more than 30 of the region's leading policymakers and business leaders, academics and civil society leaders as speakers.
The South Asian diaspora attending SADC 2019 will benefit from the unique high impact networking and
business opportunities to foster greater investments in the region. SADC 2019 will feature the
sub-themes
of 'Infrastructure and Smart Cities', 'Women Empowerment in South
Asia', 'Technology
in Financial Services', 'Business in South Asia: Opportunities and Challenges' and more.
A welcome gala dinner will precede the convention on Friday, 15 November 2019. The evening will witness
the honouring of a distinguished member of the South Asian Diaspora. Launched in 2013, the Outstanding
Member of the South Asian Diaspora Award recognises the award recipient’s outstanding lifetime
achievements, which have left a deep impact on his/her field as well as on society-at-large.
Held in conjunction with SADC, there will be a cricket tournament
featuring international and corporate players on Sunday, 17 November 2019. This will be followed by an
